Foundation & early years

Insaver was founded in Lummen in 2012 with the aim of improving the energy efficiency of buildings. Initially, the focus was on energy saving, but our services soon expanded to include the generation and later the storage of energy. This expansion eventually led to a move to Zonhoven.
2012

Partnership with Luminus

In 2017, Luminus and Insaver are joining forces, driven by their shared commitment to sustainability. This collaboration transforms Insaver from a local player into a major player on the Belgian market.
2017

Reinforcement and expansion

Building on the knowledge and experience gained, Insaver founded its own B2B unit in 2018. The first project is AD Delhaize in Riemst. Insaver is building its own knowledge centre with a view to further innovation. The team continues to grow, leading to a second move to Houthalen in 2019.
2018

Integration of Aralt

With the integration of Aralt, the focus on post-installation service is strengthened. The team is being expanded to include in-house technicians, with the focus on improving efficiency and processes. The first steps in the area of charging infrastructure have already been taken.
2021

Market leader in Belgium

Insaver is the largest installer of rooftop PV systems in Belgium and continues to focus on expansion and innovation, including ground systems, carports, batteries for B2B and energy management systems.
2023

International expansion

The completion of the first project in the Netherlands marks the beginning of an international expansion, followed by projects in Germany, France and Luxembourg. The focus is shifting from energy-efficient buildings to supporting electrification with intelligent solutions. Insaver is nominated for the Trends Gazelles for the fourth time and opens a new head office.
